Little Fugue in E flat Lydian - (2015)

for organ

This short work opens with harmonic gestures to gently highlight the raised fourth in its cadences. The fugue subject is scalar, rising little more than the octave as the dominant and tonic are reinforced in the bass. The subject as answer appears in the expected dominant with its E natural breaking the signature. Canon and fugue combine in structure.
