Prelude and Fugue in C minor - (2012)
for piano
A short introductory statement leads into the prelude, its motive in the alto and then bass voices. Imitation at the fifth reinforces the theme which then carries over into the fugue.
A bass note carries over from the prelude and then octave displacement brings this up several octaves, reaching above the soprano line for a moment. Small episodes break the restatements of the subject and the fugue ends with a staccato burst.
