Prelude and Fugue in C sharp major - (2012)

The gentle adagio is made of unequal phrases in a motet-like texture for four voices and with restrained dynamics.

 

 

The fugue is of leaps of sevenths in a 3+2 pattern. The opening of the subject on the third of the diatonic scale leaving reinforcement of the tonic until the answer and its counterpoint lead clearly back to the tonic.
