Prelude and Fugue in F minor - organ

Prelude and Fugue in F minor - (2011)

for organ

This gentle 5/4 prelude is introduced with a florid phrase which leads to the tripartite voices, soprano accompanied by parallel thirds beneath and a bass line supporting the top line's rhythm, with the melodic minor emphasized.

The fugue subject is partially accompanied with an answering phrase, and appears as answer in the mediant as well as in the expected dominant, and later the subject in the dominant is harmonized in the mediant temporarily.
